Sneak Peak - Apothecary Art

Here is a stunning new card made with a new upcoming stamp set that is sure to please everyone! It is called Apothecary Art and will be available Jan. 4 in the new Occasions Mini. The Labels Collection Framlit dies which were used to cut out the frames are also part of the sneak peak. One of the perks of being a SU demo is getting to preorder these new items! I also used a new Sale-A-Bration item Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper along with new ribbon that will be available Jan. 24. Thanks for looking!

More craft fair items

Every year I have a booth at our local craft fair and try to make up some inexpensive items for it. The mini milk cartons have been very popular. They are made using Stampin' Ups mini milk carton die and the Got Treats stamp set. I fill them with chocolate and put a clip on the top and they are ready to go. Here is just a small assortment of treats.

Craft Fair goodies - Reindeer Poop!

Reindeer poop is always a popular item for craft fairs. This year I filled the bags with chocolate covered peanuts and raisins. The toppers were so easy to make. I used the Top Note die, several circle punches and our decorate elements die (might be retired now) but we do have another one that might work in its place. I punched out a snowflake to put on the bag and a put a cute saying on the back. Fun stocking stuffer or gift for the right person!

Craft Fair Bookmarks!

Here are some fun bookmarks I made recently for a craft fair booth. They were really popular. Would make great stocking stuffers! I used our Stampin' Up owl punch, our scalloped circle punches (both the regular one and the larger one), Fox and Friends stamp set and our large butterfly die cut. I found the large paper clips at Target. These were easy to make and fun! Enjoy!

Snow Much Fun!!!

Snow Much Fun is one of my absolute favorite new stamp sets from the new idea book and catalog. I love the snowmen and Christmas tree in the stamp set. It is one of my all-time favorites. Here are a couple of swaps I received using this stamp set. The new triple layer doily punch was also used. This doily can also double as a snowflake instead of using it as a doily. Enjoy!

Winter Post Vintage Card

I LOVE this card and I think it was designed by my upline Lisa. It uses the Winter Post stamp set (111780) and the top not Big Shot die. After coloring in the images, simply add the two way glue and sprinkle with dazzling diamonds to get this beautiful glitter look! Enjoy!

Pennant Parade Christmas Card

I love the new Pennant Parade Stamp Set which coordinates with the new Petite Pennants Builder punch. Both can be found in the big catalog. This card also uses the Heard From the Heart stamp set (for the senitment) and the scallop trim border punch. Enjoy!

More Christmas Cards!!!

As I said earlier, I am going to try and post a bunch of Christmas cards. This one uses the new shaker frames and Gift Givers stamp set from the holiday mini. I used the Mica Flakes which helps give the look of snow without all that cold! Enjoy!

Christmas Cards Galore!!!

Hello all! I am have been working diligently lately on getting ready for the craft fair coming up next weekend in Seneca. I am going to try and post several Christmas cards I will have on display there. Some cards are my creations, some are swaps I received from other demos. I feel bad I can't credit everyone's names, but I do appreciate and really enjoy swapping with others. It is so fun to get new ideas. Makes me more creative! All cards use current stamp sets and Stampin' Up products. Hope to post more later! Enjoy!

Sailboat Baby Card

This is a card designed by a fellow SU demonstrator Sandy. At a recent SU get-together we all brought shoe box swaps and this one was hers. I love how she used the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die for the this card. The triangles make excellent sails! There are so many ways to use this die. I love the intricate circles you can cut out with this Pennant die too. The new stripes textured embossing folder was used for the background and really adds a lot to this card. Water was cut out using a circle punch and a large circle made with the circle scissors plus was cut in half for the boat. Petite Pairs was used for the sentiment. Enjoy!

Anniversary Card

This adorable anniversary card was made by a friend for us. I just had to post it! She used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on the chocolate chip cardstock for the background. Other products used include Time to Celebrate wheel, scallop trim border punch and Timeless Type alphabet die set. Everyone needs to own an alphabet die set. That is something I use all the time. Love the colors! Thanks Julie!

Day of Gratitude Fall Birthday Card

I LOVE to scrapbook and this stamp set Day of Gratitude is perfect for fall scrapbook pages. I used the large image on my card's centerpiece and it makes for a very dramatic fall card. I love to color in our stamps with our markers. SU markers are simply the best! I used the Curly Cute stamp set for the sentiment. Enjoy! Happy Fall!

Countryside Happy Birthday

I LOVE FALL! This card was made using fall colors and the stamp sets Countryside and Perfectly Penned. We have 2 October birthdays this month. My dad's and my brother's. I already gave this card to my dad and he liked it a lot. Enjoy!

Just Believe Praying for You

This was another fabulous convention swap. The card uses Just Believe and the new embossing folder Finial Press. The butterfly was embossed using the embosslit Beautiful Wings. The scallops trim border, word window and moderd label punches were used. Pearls finish off this precious card. Enjoy!

Convention Swap Card

Here is another beautiful card I received in a card swap at Convention. That is one of the funnest things about convention...getting tons of fresh new ideas! Enjoy!

Delicate Doilies Friendship Card

This was a card swap I received at Convention in July. I love the colors and this new Delicate Doilies stamp set. The new Lace Ribbon Border punch adds a dramatic effect to this card. The sentiment is from the stamp set Curvy Verses. Enjoy!

Precious Butterflies Birthday Card

Okay...this new hostess stamp set has got to be one of my ultimate favorite hostess stamp sets Stampin' Up has ever offered! It is sooo reasonable and easy to get with a workshop or minimal order. I love the new hostess program. You can get anything you want out of the catalog with your hostess dollars! And you can pick out any hostess stamp set (no more levels!). Yeah! This is a card I made and embossed for a friend's birthday in Sept. I think I used Island Indigo and Tempting Turquoise for my colors. I did emboss the butterflies with the new Tempting Turquoise embossing powder and I used dazzling diamonds on my cut out butterfly. Of course I added those precious pearls to my precious butterfly! I made it a while back and really did intend to post it sooner but with 4 kids out for 4 different sports activities this fall my life has turned a bit hectic lately. I am not complaining...I love it...but sometimes it leaves little time for one of my favorite activities...stamping! Enjoy!

Sending You Love!

I just LOVE this sweet little tree from the Easy Events stamp set. It makes for a quick card and can be used for many occasions. Sending You Love...just think...anniversary, get well, think of you, etc. Enjoy!

Warmest of Wishes Halloween Card

Halloween is so fun! I love to make Halloween cards and scrapbook pages. This card was made from a fun new Hostess stamp set Warmest of Wishes. It can be found in our new Holiday Mini. I also die cut a leaf from our leaves #2 die (which I love...and use ALL the time when scrapbooking) and embossed it with our new houndstooth embossing folder. I punched out the owl and die cut the leaf...so there was very minimal cutting by hand...which I also like very much! Enjoy!

Leaves of a Tree Birthday Card

I love the new A la Carte individual stamps SU is now offering. They are nice size stamps and make great cards and would be good for scrapbooking pages too. Can you image this Leaves of a Tree stamp being used on a scrapbook page? I cut out a leaf from our leaves Big Shot die and embossed it with the new Houndstooth embossing folder. I also used the new Occasions Alphabet stamp set for the sentiment. Enjoy!

Gently Falling Emboss Resist

Here is a gorgeous fall card I cased from another SU demo Laura Leuenberger. This card uses the new stamp set Gently Falling from the new Holiday mini catalog. Here are the instructions for this wonderful card: Stamp the En France background stamp in soft Suede on white cardstock. Rub over it with embossing buddy. Stamp the leaf image from the Gently Falling stamp set with versa mark clear ink and pour clear embossing powder over wet leaf image. Shake off excess powder and then heat image with embossing gun. Sponge around leaf with pool party ink and soft suede ink. Here is the fun part: Take a cotton swap and wipe off the ink you just sponged on your leaf. The leaf image will pop out!

Brayer pool party ink onto the textured plate and emboss it onto cardstock. Use the scallop trim border punch to punch out the design on the bottom.

Layer pieces and assemble card. I used the new Spice Cake fabric for the bow and an Antique Brad to finish off the card. Enjoy!

Owl Anniversary Card

WHO doesn't LOVE OWLS? Not me, I think they are adorable! This owl punch makes the cutest cards, including anniversary. I also used our bird punch to make the vines or branches that the owls are standing on. The sentiment is from the stamp set, "A Word For You". Enjoy! (P.S. I "cased" this card idea from Rebecca Borkoski.)

Easy Events Anniversary Wishes

Easy Events was one of the stamp sets we all received at convention. I really love it because it suits many occasions and I just tend to grab it when I need a card. These two sweet little birds are actually intended for a wedding card but I changed it up into an anniversary card by adding a sentiment from the stamp set A Word For You. Colored my birds in with markers and added a few hearts, some ribbon and presto...I'm finished! Enjoy!

Baby Tees Quick Cards!

Need a quick baby card? Try our Baby Tees wheel. Honestly, if you have not tried our wheels you need to! They make the fastest cards and make fantastic scrapbook page borders! I used the Baby Tees wheels for these baby cards. I also used sentiments from the stamp sets: Friendly Phrases and A Word for You. Love those new sentiment stamp sets because of the 2 fonts used in all the sentiments. You will find a sentiment for almost every occasion! Enjoy! P.S. I colored my images in with our wonderful Stampin' Up marvelous markers!

Raining Flowers

Raining Flowers was another fabulous set we received from Stampin' Up at Convention. I love the 2 step stamps...they are so easy. You just stamp the outline of your flower in black and then stamp the inside in whatever color you wish and you have a fabulous flower in little time! I also used the sentiment from the It's Your Day stamp set. Enjoy!

Easy Events Quick Cards

One of my favorite new sets I received at Convention is the new stamp set Easy Events. I can be used for a wide array of events, so it is one stamp set I know I will get a lot of mileage out of. It makes for really quick and easy fun cards that don't take a lot of time, which is something I need these days now that school is back in session and my running to events starts again. Enjoy!

Who doesn't love pigs? I love pigs...we raise them!!! Yep, I help my hubby several times a week with them wonderful animals. Over the summer our boys have been helping him, but soon school will begin again and I will be back helping him again. This adorable pig comes from the new stamp set Button Buddies. It is so cute! And fun! It is such an easy stamp set to use to make simple, fun cards! It was one of the first ones on my wish list from the new catty! I also used another new set called Friendly Phrases. And our new polka dot ribbon! And I also used a new Big Shot embossing folder called Houndstooth and a new Big Shot die called Perfect Pennants. If you want a new catalog, let me know...or want to book a workshop! Enjoy!

Convention

Last week I got the privilege of being able to attend the Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah (where it was cooler!). I attended with my upline Lisa and downline Julie (in the first picture, from left to right). There were two other fun gals from Topeka, Arla and Joy, who also went with us. It was so much fun! So much to take in! The people, the sights, the tour of the SU offices and shipping facility in Riverton, the free goodies and previews, the displays, the classes, etc. It was an awesome week, that is for sure! Julie, Joy and I were lucky to be able to attend a first-timers to Convention breakfast with Shelli and even though there were a lot of people there, we were fortunate enough to get to meet her and get our pictures taken with her. She is so sweet and down to earth! I came home with lot of inspiration and can't wait to get busy creating! I have had to play catch up first though, with my kids and house and garden, but I am getting there! Thanks for viewing!

The Nicest Things Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my sister with the stamp set "The Nicest Things" (clear mount 220531 and wood mount 117036). I colored it in using the blender pens and also used my markers a little bit. I think I outlined the apron on the skirt a little too dark, but all in all it turned out pretty good. I have realized that when I am relaxed and take my time, my coloring in turns out much better. I was in a big hurry to get this one done before the mail man arrived. I also used the itty bitty punch pack and some of our pearls for accents. The sentiment comes from the stamp set Curly Cute (clear mount 120510 and wood mount 117104). I also stamped the nice sentiment from the The Nicest Things stamp set on the inside. The cardstock I used is my favorite new in color, Pool Party. Enjoy!

Love and Sympathy

I needed a couple of quick sympathy cards. The new Love and Sympathy (122797 clear 122795 wood) stamp set delivers! I love this simple and elegant new stamp set in the new catalog. I used Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz. Enjoy!
