Wonderful Winterland Friend Card

I just love this image from the new Wonderful Winterland stamp set. It makes me feel good inside and I think it would make a fabulous card or tag to send to a friend with a package of hot cocoa mix or a gift card to a coffee house! Wonderful Winterland includes 6 fabulous stamps which would be good for scrapbooking kid's winter pages and for making beautiful greeting cards. Enjoy!

Happy 25th Anniversary!

Finally, one more post using the Memorable Moments stamp set. This beautiful card was made by a good friend of mine for my husband and I's 25th wedding anniversary. I LOVE IT!!! She used the bird punch and I think those little 'ole birds really made this card pop! Enjoy!

Another Happy 50th card

Here is another Happy 50th Anniversary card.

Happy 50th Anniversary

Memorable Moments is a great set to have on hand to make cards to special occasions like 50th wedding anniversaries and 80th birthday parties (2 events I have coming up). This card was made using that set and also the Attic Boutique die cuts (now retired). Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Owl

Here is a recent card I cased from Mary Fish. We used it in our monthly stamp class and it was a huge hit. I love the owl punch. It is one of my favorite punches. We used the new coredelations card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the wood grain embossing foler. We then it sanded it with the new SU sanding blocks. Punched a hole in the center of our "tree", added some Orchard Harvest DSP and a new birthday sentiment and there you have it. A beautiful, fun birthday card that anyone would be happy to get in the mail. Love it! Enjoy!

Googly Ghouls Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!  I love Halloween!  Sept. was a very busy month for our family as our oldest son got married.  We made many, many paper flowers for decorations.  I will post pictures sometime soon.  In the meantime, here are some fun Halloween cards I made using the new stamp set Googly Ghouls.  The sentiments are from the new hostess stamp set Wacky Wishes and Mixed Medly.  I love the new Googlies  (adhesive backed googly eyes).  Enjoy!

Four Seasons

One of my favorite new hostess stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up catalog is called Four Seasons.  It features eight stamps...four bird seasons in circles that coordinate with our scalloped circle and regular circle punches and also includes four other stamps that represent the seasons (a snowflake, leaf, butterfly and flower image).  I Love IT!!!  Here is a fall card I made with this set.  I later added a Thinking of You sentiment to send to a friend.  Enjoy!

Field Flowers Anniversary

Today's post is an anniversary card for my brother and his wife.  I used Field Flowers and the background stamp En Francais.  Other products include Apothecary Accents (Big Shot Framelits, which I LOVE!), Boho Blossoms punch, pearls.  The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I don't think this is the best picture of this card, but it did turn out really nice.  I also used new incolors Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.  Enjoy!

Full of Blessings

Fall is upon us!  Already!  Where did the summer go?  I miss it (not the heat) but the relaxing days of summer.  I do love fall though.  Here is a card I made with the new stamp set Full of Blessings.  I used my markers and watercolor crayons to color in the image.  I later added the message, "Thinking of You" and plan to send it to a friend.  Enjoy!

Harvest Blessings

Can't remember if I posted this one or not.  This is one of my favorites.  I used Harvest Blessings and new Chevron embossing folder.  Enjoy!

Sending Smiles with MDS!

This wonderful card features the Sunflower background stamp, but guess what?  It was made using My Digital Studio!  The sunflower was printed on cardstock and then embossed with the Big Shot! This is a great idea and I am now just getting used to it.  I love it!  I have MDS and now I realize more of it's potential.  Downloading stamps on it saves space and gives more variety.  I can keep adding to my ever-growing stamp collection, without always adding more physical sets that take up space.  Now, don't get me wrong I LOVE STAMPS and I can't get enough, but this is a new concept that gives more variety.  I actually made this card a Stampin' Up meeting with our group of ladies (I think Becky designed it.)  I love it!  Enjoy!

Perfectly Preserved Thank You

What a perfect way to welcome fall...with a new card made with the stamp set Perfectly Preserved.  This new set comes either by itself or in a new bundle package.  That's right!  Stampin' Up now has new bundles to save you money!  The Perfectly Preserved Bundle comes with the new stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the new Cannery Set framelits.  Makes stamping and cutting out super easy and fun!  I also used the new Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper.  Oh..and I almost forgot...that nice little scalloped edge was made using our new Adorning Accents Edgelits!  Enjoy!

Wonderfall Thank You

I just love the new Wonderfall Stamp set and coordinating Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  Makes wonderful, fun, interesting leaves for any project.  I learned a trick to getting the leaf stamped image perfectly centered inside the leaf.  This was something I demonstrated to my customers at my last class and they also found it to be a worthwhile tip.  Cut out your shape (in this instance a leaf).  Ink up your leaf stamp.  Place the inked up stamp face up on your table.  Then simply line up and they lay your leaf over the inked stamp.  Run your fingers over the back side of the leaf (or you can use your bone folder).  Then pick up your leaf off of the stamp and presto...you have your inked up leaf perfectly stamped inside the image!  Works like a charm.  This would also be great for using background stamps on the front of cards.  Helps to distribute the ink evenly.  Enjoy!

Lacey and Lovely

This is a special card made for a friend who is going through a tough time right now.  I actually spotted this card and cased it from another SU demo (but I can't find it now).  I just remember how it caught my eye.  Simple and perfect.  I used the new stamp set Lovely and Lacey and Sassy Salutations for my greeting.  Colors are Rose Red, Not Quite Navy and River Rock.  Enjoy!

Memorable Moments Anniversary

Memorable Moments is one of my favorite new stamp sets from the new catalog. It is so nice for making birthday and anniversary cards. It coordinates with the lablels framelits so cutting out the label is super easy every time! And you can put whatever number of birthday years or anniversary years on the card to make it even more special. Enjoy!

Countryside Summer Birthday Card

Happy summertime!!!! I have made quite a few summer cards recently and I am going to gradually get them all posted. I have several new stamp sets and have been thoroughly enjoying playing with them!!! Here is a recent summer birthday card made with Countryside and the sentiment is from Curly Cute. They now feature a new foam pad and are wonderful! They make stamping so much easier and fun! Enjoy!

Summer Solstice

I made this gorgeous card using the stamp set Summer Solstice. I am so very happy that this stamp set has carried over into the new catty! I love this set! I used Blushing Bride, Concord Grape and Peach Parfait. These colors are retiring soon, so now is the last chance to get them! I also used the new labels collection framelits which have been carried over too. Enjoy!

Up, Up and Away Happy Birthday!

I purchased this stamp set awhile ago and finally got it out to make a birthday card. The balloons are so fun and make a very uplifting, happy card. I used up some retired SU paper for my card. I also used the itty bitty punch pack to punch out little flowers to use at the base of the balloons. So simple and easy, yet cute! Enjoy!

Another Fabulous Summer Smooches card!

This card I cased from Mary Fish (love her examples). I just can't get enough of the new Summer Smooches Suite. I have even finished a scrapbook page with this new paper and can't wait to do more!

More Summer Smooches!

Elegant Flower Fancy Sympathy

I love Flower Fancy! It has got to be one of my all time favorite stamp sets. The flowers are so soft and elegant. This was a recent sympathy card I made with this set. I used my aqua painters to softly color in the flowers with our Stampin' Up ink. I also used the new Adorning Accents Edgelits dies to make the beautiful scalloped border. Enjoy!

Fabulous Florets Thank You

I love this stamp set, "Fabulous Florets" (wood mount 123025, clear mount 123027). The flowers or elements in this stamp set give way to many different looking cards and can be used for scrapbook pages too. This is a card I made recently for a customer. I used the new doily die found in the Occasions Mini. Enjoy!

Bringing Baby

I am going to try and post a bunch of recent cards I made. Many of them are quick and simple. Here is one made with our A La Carte stamp "Bringing Baby". (#122905) Enjoy!

Distressed Elementary Elegance Birthday Card

One of my favorite new products in the big catty is the distressing kit. It is so easy to create a distressed appearance with the fun kit. It includes 1 flat stamp, 4 distressing ink spots (love the colors), 1 sanding block, 1 emery boarda and 3 precision files. Simply dab ink pad on stamp and rub it over your paper, then blend ink with water for an aged look. Love this look! Use the sanding block and emery board to distress or smooth edges of paper after adding it to cardstock. Use precision files to sand intricate die cuts and sand in tight areas. It sells for $19.95 and can be found in the big catalog on page 203 (#118762). I used Elementary Elegance stamp set (which can be earned for free with a $50 purchase) from Sale-A-Bration. Tiny Tags was used for the sentiment friends and was punched out with the jewelry tag punch. Other supplies used include: the baker's twine, butterfly punch, pearls, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, and Everyday Enchantment DSP. Enjoy!

Mixed Bunch & Blossom Punch

Recently, every time I need to make a card I find myself grabbing the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom punch. This set is so versatile and makes for a different looking card every time I use it. So easy and fun! I did "case" this idea from another SU demo Robin Merriman. Enjoy!
