Best of Flowers--Thinking of You

Field Flowers Anniversary

Today's post is an anniversary card for my brother and his wife.  I used Field Flowers and the background stamp En Francais.  Other products include Apothecary Accents (Big Shot Framelits, which I LOVE!), Boho Blossoms punch, pearls.  The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I don't think this is the best picture of this card, but it did turn out really nice.  I also used new incolors Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.  Enjoy!

New Catalog Sneak Peak

Hello fellow stampers! I am so excited to start posting projects made using new upcoming products from the new catalog. The new Stampin' Up catalog goes live June 1st and I am sooo excited! If you want a catalog, make a comment and I will get you one. This card was made using the new stamp set "Betsy's Blossoms" and the new DSP Floral District. New in colors Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit were used. I am in love with all the new colors! Enjoy!

Elegant Flower Fancy Sympathy

I love Flower Fancy! It has got to be one of my all time favorite stamp sets. The flowers are so soft and elegant. This was a recent sympathy card I made with this set. I used my aqua painters to softly color in the flowers with our Stampin' Up ink. I also used the new Adorning Accents Edgelits dies to make the beautiful scalloped border. Enjoy!

Fabulous Florets Thank You

I love this stamp set, "Fabulous Florets" (wood mount 123025, clear mount 123027). The flowers or elements in this stamp set give way to many different looking cards and can be used for scrapbook pages too. This is a card I made recently for a customer. I used the new doily die found in the Occasions Mini. Enjoy!

Mixed Bunch & Blossom Punch

Recently, every time I need to make a card I find myself grabbing the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom punch. This set is so versatile and makes for a different looking card every time I use it. So easy and fun! I did "case" this idea from another SU demo Robin Merriman. Enjoy!

Raining Flowers

Raining Flowers was another fabulous set we received from Stampin' Up at Convention. I love the 2 step stamps...they are so easy. You just stamp the outline of your flower in black and then stamp the inside in whatever color you wish and you have a fabulous flower in little time! I also used the sentiment from the It's Your Day stamp set. Enjoy!

Flower Fest Sneak Peak

One of my favorite new stamp sets from the Summer Mini is the Flower Fest stamp set. I love it because it is so stinking cute...and you can punch out all of the images with SU punches (except the leaves). How easy is that! I "cased" this card from Lisa Young. Thanks for your inspiration! I used Beyond the Garden DSP and the fabulous new embossing powders SU is offering in the new Summer Mini. I used the water color crayons and aqua painters to brush my color inside the images. This card looks like it took a long time to make, but actually it was pretty fast. Remember...I simply punched out most of my images! Enjoy!

Fabulous Florets Sneak Peak

Here is another card featuring a new stamp set from Summer Mini catalog. It is called Fabulous Florets. I used the new Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi embossing powder on my flowers. Sentiment is from the new Happy Greetings stamp set. Other products used include: Extra Large Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Beyond the Garden DSP and white ribbon. Enjoy! Flower Fest Sneak Peak

Here is another sneak peak from the new Summer Mini catalog. This card features the stamp set Flower Fest along with the new Tangerine Tango embossing powder. The large flower coordinates with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. I also used a sentiment from the new stamp set Happy Greetings. The new Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper was used. Itty Bitty Punch Pack was used to punch out the tiny flowers accented with a small pearl. Enjoy!

Sneak Peak - Flower Garden embossing folder

I did a little experimenting last night with some new upcoming products from the Summer Mini catalog which starts May 1st. I used the Flower Garden textured embossing folder on white cardstock and then sponged the flowers on the first card. On the second card I used markers to color the flowers. I embossed first...so the flowers were white...then added my color to them. On both cards I used the new triple layer punches for my borders. The first card uses the doily punch and the second one uses the blossom bouquet punch. The sentiment is from the new Fabulous Florets stamp set. Enjoy and keep watching for more sneak peaks soon!

Summer Mini Sneak Peak - Triple Layer Punches

Here are three cards made with new upcoming products from Stampin' Up. The new triple layer punches look to be very popular. They are so simple to use, simply move the easy to use front lever to the image you'd like and punch! Three images in one body saves space! One punch is a makes 3 flower shapes, the other one makes doily shapes. I also used the Bold Blossom stamp set which is featured in the Occasions Min and will be carried over to the Summer Mini. The new paper Beyond the Garden was used along with the new Flower Garden textured embossing folder. The sentiments come from the new stamp set Happy Greetings. I also used the itty bitty punch pack and glimmer brads and pearls. Can't wait for the Summer Mini release May 1st. Enjoy! ( P.S. The turquoise polka dot blue paper comes from the brights patterns designer series pack from the big catalog.)

Petal Cone Flower Vase

This fabulous creation was made by my wonderful upline, Lisa. She made this for me at our last meeting and I just have to share it. It uses the Petal Cone Die and the Fun Flowers Bigz Die (both of which can be found in the new Occasions Mini). She also used some of our new Big Buttons and the Love Letter Designer Series Paper. Also, the new You're a Gem stamp set (also available in the new Occasions Mini) and Artistic Etchings were used. Thanks for looking! Enjoy!

Easter Blossoms and Springtime Vintage

Love this card I recently made at my upline's home. She came up with this card and I really like it. It uses the Easter Blossoms stamp set and new Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper, both which can be found in the Occasions Mini. Get them while you can! We also used the Trinkets accessories, Tulip Frame Die, Top Note Die and pearls. Also used seam binding for the ribbon. Love that seam binding. It is so easy to work with and it really dresses up a card! Enjoy!

Paper Flowers and Weddings!

These fabulous paper flower decorations would look lovely on a table or place setting for a wedding. They were a cinch to make too! Simply punch out various flowers with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. ( If you desire larger flowers, use the larger scalloped circle dies with the Big Shot.) You can distress the edges of the scalloped circles if you like. Poke a hole in the middle of the scalloped circles. Put a brad through. Then fold and crinkle the scalloped circles into a 3-D flower! It's that simple! I used the new Bliss stamp set to stamp Bliss and a flower on tags I made for my flowers. The Bliss stamp set is FREE with a $50 purchase beginning next week for Sale-A-Bration! I added some of our new crocheted ribbon for an accent. You can use any of our ribbon for accents. Colors I used were Blushing Bride (which is a gorgeous light pink color, the picture does not show it well), Pretty in Pink and Marina Mist Blue. You can use any of our colors to create these simple, yet elegant looking flowers for your events! Enjoy! P.S. I also used our self-adhesive Basic Pearl Jewels on the tags for an extra special effect! Love those pearls!

Build A Blossom and Blossom Petals Punch

The possibilities are endless with the different kinds of flowers one can create with the new Build a Blossom stamp set and the coordinating Blossom Petals Punch. Both are found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I used Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi , Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake ink for my card. I actually cased this card's colors from Marina Blossom, another SU demo. The scallop edge punch was used for my border. The Fabulous Phrases stamp set was used for the heartfelt sentiment. Enjoy!

For Everything

For Everything is one the new stamp sets in the new catalog that immediately caught my eye. In includes 11 different stamps which can be used to make a huge variety of different images for cards and scrapbook pages. (Wood mount 116954 and clear mount 120459) Colors I used were Marina Mist, Blushing Bride, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi. There is a sneak peak item from the new fall mini catalog on this card and that is a new punch! It is called Decorative Label (extra-large) and it was a must-have on my pre-order list! It will be available Sept. 1st. Thanks for looking!

Flower Fancy

This card is made using the Flower Fancy stamp set (111578). I cased this card from another SU demo. I used the Top Note die (113463) along with the Finial Press embossing folder (115963). Love the combination. The Thank You Kindly stamp set (111700) was used for the sentiment. Flower Fancy is another wonderful 2 steppin' stamp set.

Watercolor Trio

Watercolor Trio is a nice stamp set and is available for only a limited time. It can be found in the Summer Mini catalog. It is wood mount 117050 and clear mount 120084. I also used the Square Lattice textured impressions embossing folder which is exclusive to Stampin' Up. It is 119976. I also sprayed the card with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz (118772) to give it a glimmer shine!
