Regarding Dahlias Anniversary

The Dahlia image in the Regarding Dahlias stamp set is quite stunning and makes for a fabulous card in an instant.  I embossed the flower image w/gold powder and used the brushed gold paper for the card base (although it does show up very well in the picture).  Enjoy!

Happy 25th Anniversary!

Finally, one more post using the Memorable Moments stamp set. This beautiful card was made by a good friend of mine for my husband and I's 25th wedding anniversary. I LOVE IT!!! She used the bird punch and I think those little 'ole birds really made this card pop! Enjoy!

Another Happy 50th card

Here is another Happy 50th Anniversary card.

Happy 50th Anniversary

Memorable Moments is a great set to have on hand to make cards to special occasions like 50th wedding anniversaries and 80th birthday parties (2 events I have coming up). This card was made using that set and also the Attic Boutique die cuts (now retired). Enjoy!

Field Flowers Anniversary

Today's post is an anniversary card for my brother and his wife.  I used Field Flowers and the background stamp En Francais.  Other products include Apothecary Accents (Big Shot Framelits, which I LOVE!), Boho Blossoms punch, pearls.  The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I don't think this is the best picture of this card, but it did turn out really nice.  I also used new incolors Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.  Enjoy!

Anniversary Card

This adorable anniversary card was made by a friend for us. I just had to post it! She used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on the chocolate chip cardstock for the background. Other products used include Time to Celebrate wheel, scallop trim border punch and Timeless Type alphabet die set. Everyone needs to own an alphabet die set. That is something I use all the time. Love the colors! Thanks Julie!

Easy Events Anniversary Wishes

Easy Events was one of the stamp sets we all received at convention. I really love it because it suits many occasions and I just tend to grab it when I need a card. These two sweet little birds are actually intended for a wedding card but I changed it up into an anniversary card by adding a sentiment from the stamp set A Word For You. Colored my birds in with markers and added a few hearts, some ribbon and presto...I'm finished! Enjoy!

Cheers to You Anniversary Card

The Cheers to You stamp set will be retiring this month along with many others. Be sure to check out my Stampin' Up store http://scrappinwithdeb.stampinup.net for the complete list. I used it recently to make an anniversary card for some friends. Also used the Elegant Soiree paper packet (which is also retiring). All the ribbon and sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I used the large circle punch and the large scallop circle punch also. Enjoy and be sure to check out the retired accessory and stamp set list today!

Another card with the new Four Frames and Paisley Petals paper

I am getting a lot of mileage out of this new sneak peak stamp set Four Frames and paper Paisley Petals. The colors in the paper are gorgeous and every card I have made looks different. I used the embossing folder Vintage Wallpaper on Marina Mist cardstock as my card base. River rock was punched with the scallop trim border punch for the fancy edges on the Paisley Petals DSP. I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for my sentiment and finished off my card with flowers punched with the Boho Blossoms punch (Naturals paper). I used a clear rhinestone brad for the center in my flowers. Cherry Cobbler was the cardstock used with the Decorative Label punch. Enjoy!
(These two new sneak peak products will be available to purchase in April with a $20 purchase or by hosting a workshop.)

Wedding Sweet Congratulations

Here is another card I made for the Bridal Fair I attended recently. I used Wedding Sweet stamp set and our Gold Cardstock. I did emboss my image with our gold embossing powders. I also used our scallop trim border punch, 1 3/4' x 7/8" oval punch and scallop oval punch. Our satin ribbon tied in a bow compliments the card. Enjoy!

Always Elegant Anniverary

Always Elegant is one of those beautiful elegant and yet fun stamp sets. It is very economical and is available in clear mount 120477 and wood mount 116976. Is used it to make an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law. I used a blender pen with the chalks to color in some tiny spots. The Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (115370) was used for the sentiment. I used the scallop trim border (118402) for the corners. I used Elegant Soiree DSP (117163) which is one of my new favorite paper packs. For finishing touches, I added white ribbon and spritzed my card with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz (118772). A couple of pearls completed the card. Enjoy!

Elements of Style

I am back from taking a vacation with family to the Lake of the Ozarks. We had a great time, but I am pooped out! Needed to come home to rest! I am so glad we went. It was a trip of many first for me, including horseback riding. Thanks to my sister-in-law for insisting I go with her, it turned out to be one of my favorite activities from the trip. And my daughter said it was her favorite too! Also, loved the boating! I am posting a couple of cards from the the stamp set Elements of Style (120045 clear mount and 118611 wood mount). This is such a beautiful stamp set. One cannot really appreciate it, until you actually get to stamp with it. Makes gorgeous cards and I plan on using it a lot for scrapbooking. I also used the Finial Press embossing folder for the card on the top (115963). The card on the bottom was a card we made at a recent card night at my home. My downline Julie came up with this one and it was a hit! Notice the white organza ribbon (114319). I had to order it after we used it that night. Can't believe I didn't notice it in the catalog before!
