Take It to Heart Valentine's Day

One of my favorite stamp sets from the Occasions Mini is the Take it to Heart stamp set. It coordinates with the Framelits Hearts Collection dies. Additional products used from the Occasions Mini include the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Dies. Enjoy!

Another Valentine Treat!

Here is another fun special Valentine treat I helped my son make for his special Valentine at school. We used the Box #2 Bigz die and glued two boxes together so we could put candy in both sides. He stamped the robots from the Lots of Bots stamp set (available in the big catty). He also stamped the BBF Best Bots Forever sentiment and punched it out with the large heart punch. The To and From Tag stamp was used. We punched an oval shape out of the center of the box and tied a ribbon through it. This Valentine will go to a Second Grade. Hope he likes it. Enjoy!

Chinese Take Out Box (Petal Cone Die)

I am finding out that the new Petal Cone Die (#121810) is much more versatile than I first thought. I am finding all kinds of ways to use it. This is a Chinese take-out box made from the Petal Cone Die. It was very easy to do. My daughter is bringing this to school for her special Valentine. Her special valentine is a boy this year (they all draw names) so she wanted it to look like it was made for a boy. She stamped the robots from the Best Bots Forever stamp set and cut them out and pasted them on the sides of the box. She made different colored robots, pink, green and blue. She punches out hearts and glued them on the box and we tied a ribbon on the top with a tag. (Of course, we filled it with candy!) Sneak Peak -- Valentine Defined & Framed Tulips

Here's a sneak peak of some upcoming products from the Occasions Mini which becomes available to order from January 4th. The images are stamped from the the new stamp set "Valentine Defined". If you noticed the frame around the card on the pink cardstock, it is made with the new textured embossing folder, "Framed Tulips". I also used satin ribbon and hemp thread to attach the greeting "Love You" which was also stamped from the new stamp set "Valentine Defined". The image was punched out with the small oval punch.
