Owl Anniversary Card

WHO doesn't LOVE OWLS? Not me, I think they are adorable! This owl punch makes the cutest cards, including anniversary. I also used our bird punch to make the vines or branches that the owls are standing on. The sentiment is from the stamp set, "A Word For You". Enjoy! (P.S. I "cased" this card idea from Rebecca Borkoski.)

Creative Elements birthday card

Finally arrived! My new goodies from the new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog from Stampin' Up. I got my order on Friday but had kids' ball tournaments to attend, so I didn't get to my new stuff until today. I am sooo excited to get new stuff and get to play. This card is made with my new favorite stamp set, Creative Elements (122645 wood and 122647 clear). It is so awesome! I can't wait to use it on scrapbook pages. Another new favorite product of mine is the new Designer Frames Textured Embossing Folder Set (123130). (Comes with 2 frames to use on cards or can be used to journal on scrapbook page.) I also used our newest punch, the Lace Ribbon Border Punch (122362). Pool Party and Calypso Coral are the colors I stamped with and used the new Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon. Added some of our new tiny silver brads and pearls and it is finished. The sentiment comes from the new stamp set Petite Pairs 122495 wood and 122497 clear. I did case this card from fellow demo Cherie Franklin. Enjoy!

Posy Punch Sneak Peak

I am so excited for the new catalog launch in July. Here is a sneak peak of a new hostess stamp set called Posy Punch. It coordinates with the Fancy Flower Punch. I used Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight and a new color Calypso Coral. I really love the 5 new in colors for this next year. They are fresh and soft and all work together really well. I also used a new punch called Lace Ribbon Border Punch. If anyone is interested in hosting a workshop, let me know. It is a fun way to earn free products, including this new Posy Punch stamp set. Enjoy!

Sneak Peak - Pennant Parade and Lace Ribbon Border Punch

Check out some new upcoming products from Stampin' Up which will be available July 1st: Pennant Parade stamp set with coordinating Pennant Punch and the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch. I also used a new color: Pool Party (which is one of 5 new colors that will become available July 1st). I also used a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack to punch out the tiny flower found by the sentiment. The new baker's twin (found in the Summer Mini) was used as string for my banner. Enjoy!

Pretty Postage and Pinwheels

Here is a fun card I made with the new Postage Stamp punch and the Pretty Postage Stamp Set. I used the new in colors and created pinwheels with the Postage Stamp punch. I used the glimmer brads for the center of my pinwheels. This was very easy to make. You just simply punch out the postage stamp squares. From each corner, cut into the center, making sure not to cut all the way through. Fold each corner, alternating sides and this makes the pinwheel shape. Enjoy!

I color in my images with an aqua painter and used the ink refills. The paper is from the new Beyond the Garden DSP pack. Enjoy! Check out my Stampin' Up website store for all the May specials!

Sneak Peak - Flower Garden embossing folder

I did a little experimenting last night with some new upcoming products from the Summer Mini catalog which starts May 1st. I used the Flower Garden textured embossing folder on white cardstock and then sponged the flowers on the first card. On the second card I used markers to color the flowers. I embossed first...so the flowers were white...then added my color to them. On both cards I used the new triple layer punches for my borders. The first card uses the doily punch and the second one uses the blossom bouquet punch. The sentiment is from the new Fabulous Florets stamp set. Enjoy and keep watching for more sneak peaks soon!

Summer Mini Sneak Peak - Triple Layer Punches

Here are three cards made with new upcoming products from Stampin' Up. The new triple layer punches look to be very popular. They are so simple to use, simply move the easy to use front lever to the image you'd like and punch! Three images in one body saves space! One punch is a makes 3 flower shapes, the other one makes doily shapes. I also used the Bold Blossom stamp set which is featured in the Occasions Min and will be carried over to the Summer Mini. The new paper Beyond the Garden was used along with the new Flower Garden textured embossing folder. The sentiments come from the new stamp set Happy Greetings. I also used the itty bitty punch pack and glimmer brads and pearls. Can't wait for the Summer Mini release May 1st. Enjoy! ( P.S. The turquoise polka dot blue paper comes from the brights patterns designer series pack from the big catalog.)

Sneak Peak Four Frames & Paisley Petals

Here's one more card made with the April special: Four Frames stamp set and Paisley Petals DSP which will both be available to purchase in April with a purchase of $20 in Stampin' Up products. The coordinating Decorative Label punch was used along with the sentiment from the Say It Simply stamp set. The leaf from the bird puch was used. A blue Rosette from the Occasions Mini was used. Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke cardstock and ink coordinates well with this paper. Thanks for looking!

Sneak Peak - Four Frames with Build a Blossom

For this card I combined several of my favorite new products: the Build a Blossom stamp set and coordinating punch. The new Decorative Label Punch and new sneak peak Four Frames stamp set. For the sentiment, I used the You're A Gem stamp set. I accented my Baja Breeze card with pearls and textured it with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I also used some retied Baja Breeze ribbon. Enjoy!

Create a Cupcake and Cupcake Punch

I have to admit the new Create a Cupcake stamp set and coordinating cupcake punch from the Occasions Mini catalog is a lot of fun. I love the sayings on the stamp set and the different varieties of cupcakes one can make with this set. The colors I used on this card were Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Peach Parfait and Wild Wasabi. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and Linen Thread for the bow. Enjoy!

Build A Blossom and Blossom Petals Punch

The possibilities are endless with the different kinds of flowers one can create with the new Build a Blossom stamp set and the coordinating Blossom Petals Punch. Both are found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I used Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi , Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake ink for my card. I actually cased this card's colors from Marina Blossom, another SU demo. The scallop edge punch was used for my border. The Fabulous Phrases stamp set was used for the heartfelt sentiment. Enjoy!
