Magnificent Fall!

I love the colors of fall.  I recently made a few cards and I simply love how the new stamp sets I have purchased recently worked.  I used Magnificent Maple, Tape It (one of my favorites), Gorgeous Grunge and Four You.  I used Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze.  Pretty simple card.  Enjoy!

Sneak Peak--Morning Meadow

 

Happy Memorial Day everyone!  I have a couple of posts this morning...sneak peaks of new stuff from the new catalog set to release on Friday!  I am sooo excited!  Here is a card made with the new hostess stamps set Morning Meadow.  This set features six stamps...a vine w/flowers on it, a flower w/ a coordinating new punch, a label image, a bird and two sentiments (thank you and happy birthday).  I know I will get a lot of good out of this one!  Enjoy!

Perfectly Preserved Just for You!

I spent a fun day making up a bunch of cards with new goodies, including the new Perfectly Preserved Bundle.  Also used Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper.  Fun Stuff!!! Enjoy!

Perfectly Preserved Thank You

What a perfect way to welcome fall...with a new card made with the stamp set Perfectly Preserved.  This new set comes either by itself or in a new bundle package.  That's right!  Stampin' Up now has new bundles to save you money!  The Perfectly Preserved Bundle comes with the new stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the new Cannery Set framelits.  Makes stamping and cutting out super easy and fun!  I also used the new Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper.  Oh..and I almost forgot...that nice little scalloped edge was made using our new Adorning Accents Edgelits!  Enjoy!

Wonderfall Thank You

I just love the new Wonderfall Stamp set and coordinating Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  Makes wonderful, fun, interesting leaves for any project.  I learned a trick to getting the leaf stamped image perfectly centered inside the leaf.  This was something I demonstrated to my customers at my last class and they also found it to be a worthwhile tip.  Cut out your shape (in this instance a leaf).  Ink up your leaf stamp.  Place the inked up stamp face up on your table.  Then simply line up and they lay your leaf over the inked stamp.  Run your fingers over the back side of the leaf (or you can use your bone folder).  Then pick up your leaf off of the stamp and presto...you have your inked up leaf perfectly stamped inside the image!  Works like a charm.  This would also be great for using background stamps on the front of cards.  Helps to distribute the ink evenly.  Enjoy!

Fabulous Florets Thank You

I love this stamp set, "Fabulous Florets" (wood mount 123025, clear mount 123027). The flowers or elements in this stamp set give way to many different looking cards and can be used for scrapbook pages too. This is a card I made recently for a customer. I used the new doily die found in the Occasions Mini. Enjoy!

Mixed Bunch & Blossom Punch

Recently, every time I need to make a card I find myself grabbing the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom punch. This set is so versatile and makes for a different looking card every time I use it. So easy and fun! I did "case" this idea from another SU demo Robin Merriman. Enjoy!

Attic Boutique Vintage Thank Yous

Here are a couple of cards made with the new Vintage Suite Attic Boutique. I recently started make specialty cards for a local shop and one of the things the owner loves is vintage and girly. I love the colors of the new Attic Boutique paper! Enjoy!

Mixed Bunch Thank You card

This is a card I made for good customer and friend of mine. It was soooo much fun to get to use these new products from the Occasions Mini which starts today!!! Yeah! I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating blossom punch, the new Adorning Accents Edgelits dies and coordinating embossing folders (works slick!), the new pool party seam binding (love that color) and a new sneak peak from upcoming Sale-A-Bration (DSP). Enjoy!

Flower Fest Sneak Peak

Here is another sneak peak from the new Summer Mini catalog. This card features the stamp set Flower Fest along with the new Tangerine Tango embossing powder. The large flower coordinates with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. I also used a sentiment from the new stamp set Happy Greetings. The new Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper was used. Itty Bitty Punch Pack was used to punch out the tiny flowers accented with a small pearl. Enjoy!

New Triple Layer Punches and Happy Greeetings!

The new Summer Mini begins May 1st and I can't wait for it! There are so many new fun products in it. If you would like a copy, email me and I will send you one. Here's a sneak peak of two new products which will both be in the new 2010-2011 Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog out in July. But both products: the new stamp set Four Frames and the new designer series paper Paisley Petals will be both available only in April as a special. (They will be available again in July.) Become eligible to purchase both after a $20 purchase. Or both may be earned for FREE with a corresponding $350 workshop. The stamp set Four Frames works beautifully with the Decorative Label punch. Sew Fabulous!

This card features the new Sew Suite and Pattern Pieces stamp sets (both featured in the new Occasions Mini). The new Sweet Buttons Embosslit was used for the fabulous buttons! The sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set So Happy for You. And I don't want to forget, our fabulous Pom Pom trim was used on this card. This card was designed by a fellow demo at a recent get together. It was sew fun to make! Enjoy!

Nature Walk Vintage Thank You

Here is another card I made with Nature Walk. Although I did make it into a thank you card, it would also make a wonderful thinking of you card by just changing the sentiment. I used Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip. Also used the new lace ribbon, vintage brads and Botanical Gazette DSP. I used the Vintage Wallpaper textured embossing folder as the background. Nature Walk and Oval All

Here is a recent card I made with the new stamp set Nature Walk and Oval All. I used Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight. Punches used were the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, scallop oval punch and extra large oval punch. Easy card to make and will make a great thank you card for one of my customers! Enjoy!

Northern Flurry Thank You

I made this card as a customer thank you. It's a pretty simple card, but the Northern Flurry embossing folder (120902) really adds to it and makes it look a lot more complicated than it really was. After embossing with cardstock with the embossing folder I just added a few basic rhinestones (119246) to the snowflake centers. The sentiment was used from the Thank You Kindly stamp set (111700) and punched out using our new Decorative Label punch (120907). I added some bashful blue ribbon and I'm done! Enjoy!

Autumn Days and Kinds Thanks

Here is a thank you note I made for a wonderful friend who let me bring my daughter's Girls Club out to her farm. She has a lot of "country animals" including turkeys, donkeys, chickens and exotic pheasant. The pheasant were gorgeous! Autumn Days was the perfect stamp set to use for a thank you note to her. The Thank You Kindly stamp set was used for the sentiment. Enjoy!

French Foliage and Occasional Quotes

This is a wonderful card made by my downline Julie. She used one of her new favorite new colors Cajun Craze, along with Old Olive, More Mustard and Early Espresso ink. The new French Foliage stamp set (clear mount 121166 and wood mount 120845) is a must have set for fall. It is available now and can be found on page 14 in the Fall -Winter mini catalog. The sentiment can be found from the new Occasional Quotes set which is a hostess level 3 (clear mount 120142 and wood mount 117048). Love it!

Engraved Greetings and Elegant Soiree

Engraved greetings is a nice stamp set for doing really fast, simple cards that look elegant. The set includes two stamps, a birthday one and a thank you one. (It is available in wood mount 117116.) It could be very well used to make masculine cards. I used Elegant Soiree designer series paper (117163) and Very Vanilla ribbon (109071). Espresso ink was used to stamp the image. Enjoy!
