Magnificent Fall!

I love the colors of fall.  I recently made a few cards and I simply love how the new stamp sets I have purchased recently worked.  I used Magnificent Maple, Tape It (one of my favorites), Gorgeous Grunge and Four You.  I used Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze.  Pretty simple card.  Enjoy!

Full of Blessings

The new stamp set Full of Blessings is just beautiful.  I enjoy coloring in the details of the pumpkins and leaves and berries.  The set includes 6 stamps.  There is also a beautiful fall wreath and an outdoor falll scene.  This such a gorgeous time of year.  Enjoy!

Four Seasons

One of my favorite new hostess stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up catalog is called Four Seasons.  It features eight stamps...four bird seasons in circles that coordinate with our scalloped circle and regular circle punches and also includes four other stamps that represent the seasons (a snowflake, leaf, butterfly and flower image).  I Love IT!!!  Here is a fall card I made with this set.  I later added a Thinking of You sentiment to send to a friend.  Enjoy!

Full of Blessings

Fall is upon us!  Already!  Where did the summer go?  I miss it (not the heat) but the relaxing days of summer.  I do love fall though.  Here is a card I made with the new stamp set Full of Blessings.  I used my markers and watercolor crayons to color in the image.  I later added the message, "Thinking of You" and plan to send it to a friend.  Enjoy!

Perfectly Preserved Thank You

What a perfect way to welcome fall...with a new card made with the stamp set Perfectly Preserved.  This new set comes either by itself or in a new bundle package.  That's right!  Stampin' Up now has new bundles to save you money!  The Perfectly Preserved Bundle comes with the new stamp set Perfectly Preserved and the new Cannery Set framelits.  Makes stamping and cutting out super easy and fun!  I also used the new Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper.  Oh..and I almost forgot...that nice little scalloped edge was made using our new Adorning Accents Edgelits!  Enjoy!

Wonderfall Thank You

I just love the new Wonderfall Stamp set and coordinating Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  Makes wonderful, fun, interesting leaves for any project.  I learned a trick to getting the leaf stamped image perfectly centered inside the leaf.  This was something I demonstrated to my customers at my last class and they also found it to be a worthwhile tip.  Cut out your shape (in this instance a leaf).  Ink up your leaf stamp.  Place the inked up stamp face up on your table.  Then simply line up and they lay your leaf over the inked stamp.  Run your fingers over the back side of the leaf (or you can use your bone folder).  Then pick up your leaf off of the stamp and presto...you have your inked up leaf perfectly stamped inside the image!  Works like a charm.  This would also be great for using background stamps on the front of cards.  Helps to distribute the ink evenly.  Enjoy!

Day of Gratitude Fall Birthday Card

I LOVE to scrapbook and this stamp set Day of Gratitude is perfect for fall scrapbook pages. I used the large image on my card's centerpiece and it makes for a very dramatic fall card. I love to color in our stamps with our markers. SU markers are simply the best! I used the Curly Cute stamp set for the sentiment. Enjoy! Happy Fall!

Countryside Happy Birthday

I LOVE FALL! This card was made using fall colors and the stamp sets Countryside and Perfectly Penned. We have 2 October birthdays this month. My dad's and my brother's. I already gave this card to my dad and he liked it a lot. Enjoy!

Warmest of Wishes Halloween Card

Halloween is so fun! I love to make Halloween cards and scrapbook pages. This card was made from a fun new Hostess stamp set Warmest of Wishes. It can be found in our new Holiday Mini. I also die cut a leaf from our leaves #2 die (which I love...and use ALL the time when scrapbooking) and embossed it with our new houndstooth embossing folder. I punched out the owl and die cut the leaf...so there was very minimal cutting by hand...which I also like very much! Enjoy!

Leaves of a Tree Birthday Card

I love the new A la Carte individual stamps SU is now offering. They are nice size stamps and make great cards and would be good for scrapbooking pages too. Can you image this Leaves of a Tree stamp being used on a scrapbook page? I cut out a leaf from our leaves Big Shot die and embossed it with the new Houndstooth embossing folder. I also used the new Occasions Alphabet stamp set for the sentiment. Enjoy!

Gently Falling Emboss Resist

Here is a gorgeous fall card I cased from another SU demo Laura Leuenberger. This card uses the new stamp set Gently Falling from the new Holiday mini catalog. Here are the instructions for this wonderful card: Stamp the En France background stamp in soft Suede on white cardstock. Rub over it with embossing buddy. Stamp the leaf image from the Gently Falling stamp set with versa mark clear ink and pour clear embossing powder over wet leaf image. Shake off excess powder and then heat image with embossing gun. Sponge around leaf with pool party ink and soft suede ink. Here is the fun part: Take a cotton swap and wipe off the ink you just sponged on your leaf. The leaf image will pop out!

Brayer pool party ink onto the textured plate and emboss it onto cardstock. Use the scallop trim border punch to punch out the design on the bottom.

Layer pieces and assemble card. I used the new Spice Cake fabric for the bow and an Antique Brad to finish off the card. Enjoy!

Autumn Days and Kinds Thanks

Here is a thank you note I made for a wonderful friend who let me bring my daughter's Girls Club out to her farm. She has a lot of "country animals" including turkeys, donkeys, chickens and exotic pheasant. The pheasant were gorgeous! Autumn Days was the perfect stamp set to use for a thank you note to her. The Thank You Kindly stamp set was used for the sentiment. Enjoy!

Grateful for Falling Leaves

Falling Leaves is a stamp set I added to my collection last year and I was so glad to see it again in the new catalog. I love it not only for cards, but also for scrapbook pages. It is available in wood mount (115368). This was a fun card to make. I used my circle and square punches to make the design and I love how it turned out. Colors used were Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Dusty Durango (now retired) and Crush Curry (now retired). Enjoy!

Autumn Days and On Your Birthday

I love the colors of fall and I especially enjoyed making this card. I am planning on giving it to my mother-in-law for her birthday which is in November. I cased the idea for this card from Karen Leveille (another SU demo). I saw it on Stampin' Connection. She used a different sentiment on her card, but the idea and colors are very similar. Colors I used were Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive, and Pear Pizazz. And, I don't want to forget...the stamp sets I used were Autumn Days (clear mount 120000 and wood mount 115452) and On Your Birthday (wood mount 111664). Enjoy and happy fall!

Happy Fall Y'All!

I had so much today playing with new stuff. The Day of Gratitude stamp set is growing on me a lot. I used it on these fall layout pages along with the new Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper. Another new tool that I cannot live without now that I have it is the new Bigz XL die Tasteful Trim. It is fantastic for making borders on scrapbook pages. I simply can't put it down! I also used the new Decorative Label punch. All products can be found in the Fall-Winter mini. I also used another new favorite stamp set from the new big book....Broadsheet Alphabet. Love the letters! I used them to spell out "Fall Fun". I used new colors Early Espresso and Cajun Craze along with More Mustard. On the bottom layout, I cut out my letters using the Billboard Decorative Strip Die. Thanks for looking! Enjoy!

French Foliage and Occasional Quotes

This is a wonderful card made by my downline Julie. She used one of her new favorite new colors Cajun Craze, along with Old Olive, More Mustard and Early Espresso ink. The new French Foliage stamp set (clear mount 121166 and wood mount 120845) is a must have set for fall. It is available now and can be found on page 14 in the Fall -Winter mini catalog. The sentiment can be found from the new Occasional Quotes set which is a hostess level 3 (clear mount 120142 and wood mount 117048). Love it!

Autumn Splendor and Grateful Greetings

I am invited to do a fall-themed card swap at the end of this week in Topeka with some other SU demos. It will be a lot of fun. This is my swap. I used Autumn Splendor (116503) and Grateful Greetings (116511) along with the new Elegant Soiree DSP (117163). I used the new distressing essentials kit (118762) to distress the card and Stampin' Pastels (120962) to lightly color in the tips of the leaves. Also used Rhinestone Jewels (119246) and the modern label punch (119849) and large oval punch 1 3/4" X 7/8" (119855). Colors used were Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede. (Used Rich Razzleberry 5/8" grosgrain ribbon (119957). Enjoy!
