Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit
Guess what I did last night? I watched "The Voice" with my daughter (while my hubby was out in the field) and made 20 cards! Yep, I made 20 fabulous homemade cards! It was so easy with the new Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit from Stampin' Up. Everything you need comes in one box. You get a seven-piece Occasions Stamp set and clear block, cardstock and envelopes for 20 cards, twine, buttons and clips, full-color brochure w/tips and tricks, die cut paper embellishments, stampin' dimensionsals, Stampin' spots (mini ink pads) and a cool, storable gift box! I just grabbed the box and went with it...I couldn't believe I could make 20 cards in one evening and I figured they cost me less than $1.50 per card! And I still have pieces left over, plus a wonderful stamp set to use over and over again! And ink too! Did I mention how much I LOVE this new product from SU? What's great about it is that is is good for beginners but also a nice way to sit down and stress-relieve for an evening and not have to think. It's all there ready for you! The cardstock and embellishments are all pre-cut and heavy good cardstock to use. The brochure is nice to keep for future layout ideas for cards too! It is item number 134797 and sells for $29.95. Don't miss out on this one!!!!

Flower Shop Birthday Card
I made this fabulous card for my sister's birthday. I used the wonderful in colors and the new stamp set Flower Shop with the coordinating punch. This set and punch are sold as a bundle or can be purchased individually in the new catalog. And if you noticed the background is something new...a sneak peak from the new upcoming Holiday catalog. It's called Pretty Print Textured Impressions embossing folder and it's gorgeous. The picture really does not do it justice. Enjoy!
More new cards made with new goodies!
Here are four more recent cards I made with new stuff from the new catalog! I have been having a blast! I will edit this post later with details on the cards. Enjoy!
Chalk Talk Birthday Card
Here is a stunning new card made with the new stamp set Chalk Talk and coordinating framelit set. Mosiac Madness embossing folder was used on the Strawberry Slush cardstock for the backround. I just love Strawberry Slush and Black together. Makes for a very stunning card! Enjoy!
Secret Garden Happy Birthday
Here is a card I made for my mom's birthday. I used Secret Garden and the new in colors. LOVE these new colors! They are so pretty and blend together well. I cased this card idea from another demo. I also used the Delicate Designs embossing folder with the coordinating edgelit framelit. Banner Greetings was used for the sentiment. Enjoy!
Regarding Dahlias Anniversary
The Dahlia image in the Regarding Dahlias stamp set is quite stunning and makes for a fabulous card in an instant. I embossed the flower image w/gold powder and used the brushed gold paper for the card base (although it does show up very well in the picture). Enjoy!
New cards made with new stuff!
Here are a bunch of recent cards made with new goodies from the new catalog. Stamp sets used include: Wildflower Medley, Six Sided Sampler, Chevron background stamp, Label Love, Wetlands. I used the new in colors on all the cards except for the Wetlands (duck card). I have been doing plenty of stamping lately...I just need to take the time to post my creations. (I did case a couple of the cards from fellow demos.) Enjoy!

Wheely Sweet Friend
I feel like summer came on like a gangbuster and even thought I have busy playing with my new stuff and making cards, I have totally neglected my blog. I am going to try to make up for that by posting something 3-4 times a week. I have made plenty of new cards with fun, fresh new stamp sets and I can't wait to share! This card was made with the new stamp set Cycle Celebration. I plan to get a lot of use out of this new set. It includes several birthday images along with the bike and friend sentiment. My daughter really liked this set and since she loves to bike ride w/me, I made this card with her in mind. Enjoy!

Masculine Card for Father's Day
I cased this fabulous simple Father's Day card from another SU demo (Marisa Gunn). I LOVE how simple it is! Use a square punch to make the banners. I used Amazing Family and Beyond Plaid stamp sets. I also used the Print Poetry paper pack, brushed bronze buttons and linen thread. Colors used were Basic Gray, Gumball Green, Island Indigo, and Midnight Muse. Fabulous colors! Enjoy!

Patterned Party Birthday
Patterned Party is one of the birthday stamp sets soon to retire. I love the banner in this stamp set. Here are a couple of recent birthday cards I made with this stamp set (and retired DSP). Enjoy!
Best of Brides
Best of Brides and Babies is the new Best of 25 years stamp set for May. It includes 5 stamps (2 wedding, one anniversary, and two baby). This is simple wedding card. I used the 5/8" flower trip (LOVE THIS!). The flower trim is only available until the end of May, so be sure to get yours before then! I also used the scallop trim corner punch and scalloped edge punch. The paper is Pretty in Pink and is soon to be retired. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Photopolymer Style!
OK, I can't pronounce it...Photopolymer...but I really enjoyed using the new stamp set made out of this material. SU is introducing a new line of photopolymer stamps for a clear stamping option. This set Designer Type Photopolymer includes 57 pieces! And it sells for only $13.95. The possibilities are endless with this fun set. I love it for making birthday cards. It's so easy to personalize a birthday card by stamping a person's name on it (which I did on my son's birthday card). This card is pretty generic and would work for anyone. I used the Brights DSP, the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Decorative Label Punch for the my border, white baker's twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Merry Minis Punch Pack (the star). Enjoy!!!
A Round Array Happy Birthday!
Stampin' up recently gave us our first sneak peak at the new 2013-2014 annual catalog with A Round Array! It is currently available in a bundle package with the new coordinating 7/8" scallop circle punch for 15% off. The offer ends May 30, 2013. It's a fun stamp set with 8 cute stamps that suit all different occasions. Grab it while you can on sale! I used the new Designer Type Photopolymer Stamp set to stamp my arrow and then I just simply cut it out. Other products used include: The Brights DSP pack, Essentials stamp set (available in the Spring Catalog), and the fabulous Itty Bitty Punch Pack (I use it all the time). Oh, I also used the 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon in Daffodil Delight. Enjoy!

All Dressed Up Mother's Day Cards
I am so excited to showcase these new Mother's Day cards I made. They are called pop up cards and are so much fun to make. And they were very easy to make too! I used Stampin' Up's new Card Base Pop n Cuts which makes a standard size card with a fancy edge and two little slits in the bottom to tuck the edges in. To make the fancy pop up in the center of the card, I simply added the Dress Form Pop n Cuts insert into the Card Base Pop n Cuts...it's all magnetic...so it is super simple to use! I ran it through my Big Shot (required to make this card) and like magic, all the cutting and scoring in done for me. I used the new Dress Up Frameslits Die to decorate the outside the of the card. Super easy and super fun!!! Enjoy! (All products can be found in the Stampin' Up Spring Mini Catalog.) Oh, I also used the Wonderful Mother stamp set for the sentiments. Inside: "I love you not only for who you are but for helping me become the person I am." (Love it!)

Storybook Friends
Here are some recent baby cards I made from the new stamp set Storybook Friends. These cards were inspired by fellow SU demonstrator Catherine Stockly (not sure if I spelled it correctly). This set is so much fun. It can be used many different ways...not just for baby cards. Enjoy!
Henry Says, "It's Your Birthday!"
Here is a fun, simple card I made for my niece's birthday. I used 3 colors I LOVE: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, and Pool Party...all of which SU decided to KEEP!! YEAH!!! I am so happy! Oh, the stamp set is made with the fun Henry Says stamp set, available now in the Spring Catalog. Enjoy!!!!
