Chinese Take Out Box (Petal Cone Die)

I am finding out that the new Petal Cone Die (#121810) is much more versatile than I first thought. I am finding all kinds of ways to use it. This is a Chinese take-out box made from the Petal Cone Die. It was very easy to do. My daughter is bringing this to school for her special Valentine. Her special valentine is a boy this year (they all draw names) so she wanted it to look like it was made for a boy. She stamped the robots from the Best Bots Forever stamp set and cut them out and pasted them on the sides of the box. She made different colored robots, pink, green and blue. She punches out hearts and glued them on the box and we tied a ribbon on the top with a tag. (Of course, we filled it with candy!) I got my idea for this Chinese take out box from another Stampin' Up demonstrator and I am giving you the link to her blog: http://createdbyu.blogspot.com/2011/01/super-saturday-tutorial-two-petal-cone.html because she has very explicit, step-by-step directions on how to make this Chinese take out box. Enjoy!

Bitty Box Thank You

Here is a simple little thank you box made with the Bitty Box and Envelope die and the Thank You Embosslit die. I used our striped ribbon in Marina Mist and added one our our new Vintage Flower Adornments. Enjoy!

Petal Cone

Here are a couple of examples of the new Petal Cone die for the Big Shot which is now available in the Occasions Mini. It is an easy die to use and makes for elegant looking decorations and gift boxes. I used the stamp sets Elements of Style and Wedding Bliss on my creations. The die cut also cuts a long tag which can be used on projects. Enjoy!

Bridal Bliss Invitation

This is a card that is featured on the cover of the new issue of Stampin' Success (a magazine for demonstrators). It uses the new Bliss stamp set which will be available Jan. 25. You can earn it for FREE with a $50 purchase. Other supplies used include: Inviting Stamp Set, Very Vanilla cardstock, Blushing Bride cardstock, Crumb Cake cardstock, Soft Suede Textured cardstock, Blushing Bride ink, Crumb Cake ink, Soft Suede ink, Linen Thread, Pearl Basic Jewels, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, 3/16" Corner Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. The flower was used with the Scallop Circles #2 Big Shot die. Enjoy!

Wedding Sweet Invitation

Here is a wedding invitation card I cased from another SU demonstrator Ann Schach. I really like the clean, simple, elegant lines of this card. I used the Wedding Sweet stamp set and embossed the images with our gold embossing powder. The new Elegant Lines embossing folder was used for the background. Satin black ribbon and pearls complete the card. Enjoy!

Paper Flowers and Weddings!

These fabulous paper flower decorations would look lovely on a table or place setting for a wedding. They were a cinch to make too! Simply punch out various flowers with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch. ( If you desire larger flowers, use the larger scalloped circle dies with the Big Shot.) You can distress the edges of the scalloped circles if you like. Poke a hole in the middle of the scalloped circles. Put a brad through. Then fold and crinkle the scalloped circles into a 3-D flower! It's that simple! I used the new Bliss stamp set to stamp Bliss and a flower on tags I made for my flowers. The Bliss stamp set is FREE with a $50 purchase beginning next week for Sale-A-Bration! I added some of our new crocheted ribbon for an accent. You can use any of our ribbon for accents. Colors I used were Blushing Bride (which is a gorgeous light pink color, the picture does not show it well), Pretty in Pink and Marina Mist Blue. You can use any of our colors to create these simple, yet elegant looking flowers for your events! Enjoy! P.S. I also used our self-adhesive Basic Pearl Jewels on the tags for an extra special effect! Love those pearls!

Bridal Fair goodies - Matchbox Die and Two Tags

Here are two more goodies I have made for the upcoming Bridal Fair in Seneca Feb. 19 and 20. I used the Matchbox Die with the new Always Elegant stamp set. Our new lace ribbon was used with the Boho Blossoms punch. I added a pearl for an extra special touch! The Two Tags die was used for the creation on the right. (I actually cut 2 of the tags out and glued them together, so a mint or piece of candy can fit inside! Our striped ribbon in Marina Mist compliments the item. I used the sentiment from the Matchbox Messages stamp set and a new Rosette from our Occasions Mini. Both of these items can be used for candy like special dark chocolates! Enjoy!

Bridal Fair goodies!

Here are a few more Bridal Fair goodies I will have for display at the upcoming Bridal Fair in Seneca Feb. 19 and 20. I used the Pillow Box die, Fancy Favor die, Baskets and Blooms die and the Petal Cone die. All can be used for decorations or to use as party favors. Also on display is the charm bracelet with charms and baubles. I will have door prizes and a lot of fun things to look at. Stop by the Bridal Fair in Seneca, if you would like to see an closer look! Enjoy!

Wedding Party Favors - Bitty Box

Have a wedding coming up soon? I have been working on all kinds of goodies for the upcoming Seneca Bridal Fair Feb. 19 and 20. I will have a booth with all kinds of ideas for brides. The Bitty Box and Envelope die (115967) makes a nice little box (measures almost 2 1/2" x 2 1/2") for gifts or party favors. I decorated mine with the scalloped heart of hearts die and heart punch. I used the small heart punch for the bow tie and the pearls and rhinestones for the buttons. Enjoy! P.S. This die is a double bonus die because you can also cut out small envelopes with it! The Bitty Box and Envelope die can be used many ways, long after the wedding!

Build A Blossom and Blossom Petals Punch

The possibilities are endless with the different kinds of flowers one can create with the new Build a Blossom stamp set and the coordinating Blossom Petals Punch. Both are found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I used Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi , Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake ink for my card. I actually cased this card's colors from Marina Blossom, another SU demo. The scallop edge punch was used for my border. The Fabulous Phrases stamp set was used for the heartfelt sentiment. Enjoy!

Nature Walk and Botanical Gazette

The new Botanical Gazette DSP and stamp set Nature Walk are very realistic with natural designs. The paper has a warm, muted color palette and is, honestly, nothing I would have ever chosen in the past. Lately I have been very attracted to anything with nature in it. I used this paper to scrapbook pictures of my daughter we took during a family photo shoot in October. Instead of using the usual bright pink papers for her, I choose this botanical gazette suite and I love how the pictures pop off the pages. I also used the new stamp set Notes and Details and the new alphabet stamp set Broadsheet Alphabet. The new Framed Tulips textured impressions embossing folder was used to frame her picture. I used seam binding in Rose Red for the bow and the Crochet Trim Victoria lace ribbon 5/8" for the border on the top. Many of these items can be found in the new Occasions Mini catalog. Enjoy!

Nature Walk and Oval All

Here is a recent card I made with the new stamp set Nature Walk and Oval All. I used Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight. Punches used were the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, scallop oval punch and extra large oval punch. Easy card to make and will make a great thank you card for one of my customers! Enjoy!
