Trick or Treat

Here's just a simple scrapbook page displaying some photos of my son when he was little dressed up for Halloween. I used new products from SU: the new trick or treat letterpress plate, the new Nite Owl designer series paper, the new spider web embossing folder and the new bat punch. Also used a pumpkin button and a few basic rhinestones. (All from SU.) I plan to add his age and date to this page with the word window punch. Enjoy!

Happy Fall Y'All!

I had so much today playing with new stuff. The Day of Gratitude stamp set is growing on me a lot. I used it on these fall layout pages along with the new Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper. Another new tool that I cannot live without now that I have it is the new Bigz XL die Tasteful Trim. It is fantastic for making borders on scrapbook pages. I simply can't put it down! I also used the new Decorative Label punch. All products can be found in the Fall-Winter mini. I also used another new favorite stamp set from the new big book....Broadsheet Alphabet. Love the letters! I used them to spell out "Fall Fun". I used new colors Early Espresso and Cajun Craze along with More Mustard. On the bottom layout, I cut out my letters using the Billboard Decorative Strip Die. Thanks for looking! Enjoy!

Love Letter and Notably Ornate

I was so excited to finally be able to scrapbook these prom photos of my son and his girlfriend. When I spotted the Love Letter DSP, I knew I had finally found what I was looking for. Sara loves the color red and anything Vintage, so I know she will love these pages too. I used Love Letter (117162) and Notably Ornate (clear mount 120561 and wood mount 117098). I also used my new favorite Big Shot Die....the new Bigz XL Die Tasteful Trim ( 120893). I know this die is going to see a ton of use on my scrapbook pages. It cuts the perfect borders for 12 x 12 scrapbook pages. Love it! I also used the Timeless Type letters and the Naturally Serif dies to cut out my letters and numbers. Scallop Heart of Hearts was used to make the awesome polka dot heart. Thanks for viewing and enjoy!

Rejoicing in Christmas

Rejoicing in Christmas showcases the true meaning of Christmas. It is elegant and classic and makes for a really simple, easy card. It is available in clear mount 121139 or wood mount 120829 and can be found the new Holiday mini catalog. I also used Old Olive and Riding Hood Red cardstock along with Soft Suede ink. I inked the star in Daffodil Yellow and cut it out and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. The scallop edge punch was used. I also used Very Vanilla ribbon. I love how this card turned out!

A Cute Christmas and Candy Cane Designer Series Paper

Another fun, playful stamp set from the fall-winter mini is A Cute Christmas. It would be great to make tags, Christmas cards and use on scrapbook pages. (I watercolored in my image using a blender pen and my water color crayons.) I used Candy Cane Designer Series Paper along with Garden Green and Real Red cardstock. I also used another favorite new product from the mini, Northern Frost Decorative Strip. It can be used to cut out 8 unique snowflakes using the Big Shot. I adorned my snowflakes with some of the new sparkle brads which can also be found in the holiday mini. If you need a copy of the holiday mini, contact me.

Jolly Old Saint Nick and Candy Cane Paper

Don't you just love this Santa Claus? Doesn't he remind you of an old time Santa? This was such a simple, fast card to make. I used Santa from the Jolly Old Saint Nick stamp set along with the new Candy Cane Designer Series Paper. Both can be found in the new fall-winter mini. I used bashful blue cardstock and real red ribbon. I watercolored in Santa's hat and face and used crystal effects to glue on a small cotton ball for his hat. Enjoy!

Joyful Season Letterpress Plate

One of the new products in the Holiday Mini catalog I was truly excited about was the new Letterpress Plates. Finally, today, after a crazy, busy week, I was able to pull them out and play. I choose the Joyful Season (120981) plate. It was easy and fairly fast. I did practice just a bit, to make sure I had the correct tab pulled out on my Big Shot Multipurpose Platform (tab one). I used craft ink (Stampin' Spots) in real red and always artichoke. I learned to use a baby wipe to wipe off any extra ink I accidently got on the plate, so it wouldn't rub off on my card. I love the image it made! I also added a new Big Designer Button (available in Deck the Halls 121002 and Candy Cane 121718). And, of course, I added some real red ribbon to finish it off! There is just something about a simple card that I love, like this one! Enjoy!

Lovely as a Tree Masculine Card

Last night I met with my fellow SU demonstrators in our area. We all met at my upline's home. My upline Lisa is such a warm, loving, caring person. I just can't say enough good things about her! She opens her home up every month to several of us...doesn't matter if you signed up under her or someone else. This is her card she made for our swap. One of the challenges was to make a masculine card. I hope she doesn't mind me posting this on my blog. (We'll see if she notices!) She used Lovely as a Tree (115026) and All Holidays (114916). She stamped the image with Stazon ink on our vellum (which is awesome) and then colored a little green (I think with her marker) over the trees to give them some color. She punched out a circle for the moon and glued it on her cardstock and then layered the vellum over the top. Awesome card Lisa!

Football Happy Birthday Card

This card is for my son's friend who will celebrate a birthday this weekend. It is made in our school colors. Both boys play football, so I thought this would make for a good birthday card. I used the new stamp set Touchdown (clear mount 120636 and wood mount 120157). I also used the new cork sheets. I stamped the football with Black Stazon ink on the work sheet sheet and cut the football out with scissors. Also used our current large star punch and our retired small star punch. Of course, we do also sell the star die cut for the Big Shot, which includes several sizes of stars. Enjoy fall everyone!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

I just decided to pull out some more of my new goodies from the Fall-Winter Mini and I absolutely adore these Build A Wheels. They are so much fun! I used Little Cardinals, Little Christmas and Little Ornaments. I rolled them in basic black ink and colored them in with my Blender Pens and Water Color Inks. I embossed my red cardstock with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I also used the Pinking Hearts border punch on my Baja Breeze cardstock. At last, I added a button from the new Candy Cane collection. All products can be found in the Fall-Winter Mini. I can't wait to play some more! Enjoy!

Jolly Old Saint Nick

The new Fall-Winter mini SU catalog is currently available to order from. Here I am displaying three products I just love. The stamp set is Jolly Old Saint Nick (clear mount 121321 and wood mount 121711). I also used Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (120902) and the new Decorative Label Punch (120907). (I used a special trick to punch out the background red shape to mat the stamped image...I stamped 2 decorative labels in red, cut them in half, nipped off the pointy edges and just glued them on the back. I hope to show this in my next stamping class.) Also used the blender pens and water color crayons and the Jewels Basic Rhinestones. Colors used were Real Red and Baja Breeze. P.S. I also sponged the edges of my white cardstock in red. Enjoy!

French Foliage and Occasional Quotes

This is a wonderful card made by my downline Julie. She used one of her new favorite new colors Cajun Craze, along with Old Olive, More Mustard and Early Espresso ink. The new French Foliage stamp set (clear mount 121166 and wood mount 120845) is a must have set for fall. It is available now and can be found on page 14 in the Fall -Winter mini catalog. The sentiment can be found from the new Occasional Quotes set which is a hostess level 3 (clear mount 120142 and wood mount 117048). Love it!

Touchdown!

Here's a card made by a fellow SU stamper in our monthly group that meets in my area. And, in case she sees this...I had to add an extra star to the card because it got smudged after our meeting. (Stampers secret....do not re-stamp or re-make the whole card...just add an embellishment over the mishap!) This card is made with the new sports stamp set Touchdown (clear mount 120636 and wood mount 120157). I love the colors used, So Saffron and Real Red. (Reminds me of the Kansas City Chiefs.) The football was stamped on the new cork sheets (119819) and cut out. Love it!!! Great job Deloris!

Jolly Bingo Bits

Here's another simple, fun card made with Jolly Bingo Bits (clear mount 121187 and wood mount 120857). I used my new favorite color Cherry Cobbler. Also used the new Decorative Label Punch 120907 and the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch 119275. I accented it with white ribbon. Thanks for looking!

Jolly Bingo Bits and Bingo Card

My mother-in-law is a huge bingo lover so when I saw this new stamp Bingo Card (120851) in the new Fall-Winter Mini Catalog, I couldn't resist it. The stamp set Bingo Bits (clear mount 121187 and wood mount 120857) that goes well with it and is another stamp set I couldn't resist. There are unlimited possibilities with this new stamp set. It includes 24 Christmas and Winter images. I used Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Garden Green and Night of Navy ink. I am also showcasing the new Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper (120810). Enjoy!
